With over 25 years of experience in the art and design industries, Kristen developed a keen eye through her tenure at Doyle New York, as a senior designer at Bruce Bierman Design and as a co-founder/principal of Jones Rowan Studio—both NYC-based residential design studios. She studied art history and psychology at St. Lawrence University and continued her training in art and design at NYU, RISD, SVA and the New York School of Interior Design.
Kristen has vast visual experience and approaches the design process from a deep sense of collaboration and empathy, allowing projects to evolve organically alongside her clients.
"What I really seek is to partner with my clients and draw out their sensibility and express it through my experience and expertise."
A recovering perfectionist with a passion for harmony, Kristen combines her work at the gallery with her eponymous design studio, founded in 2019. KTS is a project devoted to teamwork and the celebration of beauty. As part of this platform Kristen has curated an archive of vintage and found objects, textiles and art that expresses her relationship with the purity of form and her respect for materials.
Kristen's eye, her practical and utilitarian approach to space, her passion for culture and her instinct for elegance and excellence offer, in tandem, spaces designed for living one’s best version of real life.
